Yes. Genie got its name from the little guy in the magic lamp. It appears to be a combination of someone mentioning the “magic in the bottle” that made the lifts go up and down and it being the swinging ‘60s that influenced Genie’s namesake. Today, Genie is trying to shrug off some of that antiquated perception and embrace the EV revolution. They’ve had electric lifts for decades, after all.
